I just had to make another card with this image, I adore this little girl and her dog! I made this for Digital Tuesday Challenge today, first time I have done this challenge. They wanted us to make a holiday card!

Whoa tht is a bright card,not your typical winter colors. I did this for a challenge over on PCP for Sweet N' Sassy's birthday celebration and for this weeks Cupcake Challenge. The Challenge over at PCP was to use a snowman and for the Cupcake challenge it was to use snow. I have snowflakes and there is snow (fun flock) on the card it's just hard to see.

I just luv this image so I had to get it and it worked perfect for this weeks challenge over at Mo's Challenge Blog!
What a great challenge Caryn set for us "All that Glitters" we were to use three (3) things that glitter, so I used some stickles, brads, and fun flock ok so maybe the flock has a sheen and no glitter so I hope it will pass!

It's a Celebration!!!!

"There's a party going on right here, a celebration to last through out the years. So bring your good times and your laughter too; we're going celebrate and party with you!" How's that for a flash back? The challenge this week over at Penny Black Saturday was to make a card around a song so I chose Kool and the Gang's celebration! I used the sketch from this weeks Thursday challenge at Our Creative Corner! The balloons are popped up on foam tape but it's hard to tell in the photo.

Made this for the Clearly Inspired Challenge tonight. The challenge was to focus on the number 5, embellishment, colors, layers, etc. I used 5 eyelets, 5 layers of card stock and 5 colors ( red, yellow, blue, brown, flesh).

I just got this image in the mail from a friend and had to color it up right away, I need to get me some of these cute stamps! I know the colors are kind of muted for a kids birthday card but I kind of like it! I am off now, my friend who just had a baby and has cabin fever is coming over for lunch; I bought some sour dough bread from the bakery and I am going to make yummy grilled cheese and ham sandwhiches. I think I will go make some chocolate chip cookies for after, nothing like fresh baked cc cookies. Have a blessed day!

While coloring an Image?? I did today! I came on today looking for a challenge or two to do as usual and saw the post on the challenge blog about Sarah Anderson losing her son Henry this week due to a virus. I do not know Sarah but I just can not imagine the pain that family is going through right now. I am a mom of 2 and noni to 2, my grand daughter is 3 which is how old Henry was so this really hits close for me. Pink Cat Studio is selling this cute digi stamp to raise funds to buy a tree to plant at the zoo in Henry's memory. To find out more about the fundraiser and to learn more about Sarah and Henry go here. I made this card with the Twisted Thursday Challenge, and the Cute Card Thursday challenge in mind. The layout is from Twisted Thursday and the twist was to use kraft card stock or a paper bag on your card, the bottom layer is kraft. The challenge at CCT was to use primary colors. Hello friends, I am slowly but surley getting back to "normal"; hubby is back to work and he is doing well, he was sleeping at 8:30 last night so he is still week and tired but he is making through his days. I made this for today's sketch challenge over at split coast and for the ABC challenge today to have the color green as the focus of your card. I guess if you can get past the cute pair of peeps singing you will see there is a lot of green there, green is my favorite color!

Penny Black Saturday- White on White!

Woke up early for a Saturday guess maybe because I went to be early last night. I thought I would test the MOJO waters again. This weeks challenge at the Penny Black Saturday blog was to create a white on white card. I actually like how this one turned out. The snowman and the ground under the snowman have fun flock on them as do the snowflakes but it is hard to see in the picture. I hope you are having a great weekend, I am going to try and organize my stamping space once again. Hubby is going to be catching up on e-mails before he goes back to work on Monday he has 435 in his in box.. yikes!

But now after looking at this card on the screen maybe I should have stayed away longer, lol! I woke up at 6:45 with a bum stomach so I decided to sneak up to my crafting spot and do a challenge, I did this for Mercy's challenge today. Yikes, not the greatest job! Hubby is doing much better he made it through the day yesterday with out any pain meds! I think he will get bored very quickly being at home! I ordered a back of the card stamp a few weeks ago and this cute little stamp was free with it.. I just love it! I hope everyone is having a great week and I promise as soon as hubby heads back to work I will be back commenting on every one's blog. Now off for some tea and toast!

Today is my last challenge with the team at the Cupcake Craft Challenge blog.. It has been a great ride I have totally enjoyed being part of this great group of ladies and will continue to visit the challenge every Monday just from the opposite side! Hubby had a gall bladder attack night before last, he was in so much pain! Dr. sent him for an ultra sound and now we are off to meet with the surgeon. To top it off I have had a stomach bug-not fun. Probably won't have cards for a few days folks, sorry!

Every time I go over to Mo's I get in trouble, saw this new cutie yesterday and just had to have it. Our friends just had a baby girl on Friday and I have been taking meals to them each night and last night I stuck this card in with their meal and wrote a note telling them this was the future in their house because they have 2 cats. I can just see their little girl doing this! This is from MO's digital pencil.

It is another cold day here in SC, frost on the pumpkins again this morning!
