Happy Saturday!

Hello All,

How are you doing this wonderful Saturday evening? It has been a long day. Steve and I got up bright and early and did the community yard sale thing, this year we did not put anything out to sell we went on a hunt for "new" toys for Madison. What a bust after 2 hours we came home with 7 books for $1.50. I was so disappointed! Then Steve had to go into work for a hour so I worked on a card and then we went and bought flowers. We bought flowers for in front Dahlias and some Daisy type flower and Geranium pots for on the steps. For the first time ever I have done boxes on our deck, 4 of them. Steve also bought a Gardenia bush to replace a holly that didn't make it through the winter. My neighbor came out and laughed and told us to take pictures so after the deer have eaten what we have planted we will have memories.. I think we finally have the deer under control, I bought a product 3 weeks ago and it seems to have worked, the bushes they nibbled on all winter have started to come back. Time will tell.. so I am going to post a couple pictures for you... Fingers and Toes crossed that the Deer stay away!

Oh I almost forgot, check out my cute visitor in the feeder...

It must be Spring in the Carolinas. Hope the plants survive the deer. The photos of your little GD are adorable.

Great pictures! I love all the flowers! I hope they survive the deer!
If what you are using doesn't work, you might want to try predator scents around the perimeter of your yard. It worked to keep the squirrels from chewing on the soffets on our house.

Hi, Stephanie! Cute garden pictures! I hope the deer stayed away. We have problems with squirrels digging up the seedlings and young shoots. :(

You were asking for Emily's mailing address to send her a card. Thank you for taking the time to do this! Can you email me at whoopsie.daisy@sbcglobal.net? I don't want to post her mailing address on the internet. Your email had a no-reply-comment for the sender info.

Thanks!
Jane
