Tutorial Wednesday at Catch-The-Bug!

Have you ever come across a NO Designer Paper Challenge or a Make Your Own Background Paper Challenge? Well, I am going to show you how to make your own background paper. I saw how to do this on Splitcoast and decided to give it a try. Yes, this is my first attempt.

You will need a container, I used a empty stamp case, 1 or 2 re-inkers and marbles.
Place a few dots of ink in your container, I would do one color at a time.
I taped my cardstock to the lid of the box, close it and shake it until the paper looks like you want it to.
This is the result. Now assemble your card as you normally would.
I decided to use one of my favorite Scarlet images from Bug-A-Boo Stamps, added some ribbon and a sentiment on a tag. I made the bubbles with stickles. Now wasn't that easy? If I can do it on my first attempt you surly can too!
Blessings,

Stephanie

Thanks for the reminder of this technique. We used to do this with the children in my kindergarten class and the results were so awesome! Dee
