Time Out Challenges 244

I am so excited to be Guest Designing for Time Out Challenges...  The new challenge is MONOCHROME...  This means to pick one color and use it in all of its tones and shades.   I actually have 2 cards for you...  I was not a big fan of the first one so I took a second crack at it.

Here is my first attempt, I used the Chicken Wire Stencil from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps along with the Picked Raspberry oxide ink, I used an embossing folder to emboss the bottom panel on my card.  The flower is one of my favorites from MftStamps, I embossed it in white and then painted it with the Picked Raspberry, water and a paint brush.  The little pearls are actually a light pink.

This is my second attempt and I LOVE  how it turned out.  I used my absolute favorite stamp from Colorado Craft Company-Proud of You, I colored it using 2 different shades of Tombow markers and I just adjusted the amount of water I used to darken or lighten the colors.  I used a background stamp from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps -Texture Tiles 1 and Vintage Photos Oxide Ink to mark up the Kraft background paper.  The hello stamp is just a random stamp I have, not sure the company.

The challenge is sponsored by Varada Sharma Designs...   There will be 2 challenge winners, one drawn randomly and the other chosen by the Time Out Design Team- each will win a $15 store credit to use at Varada Sharma Shop.  The winner chosen by the design team will also receive an offer to Guest Design on a future challenge.

I cannot wait to see what you come up with for your Monochrome card.
