Clean and Simple!

Hello ladies, how is everyone today? I told myself today-"self, you have no time to do the challenge today".. I DIDN'T LISTEN! I saw that it was for a clean and simple card so I knew it would be quick.. I made this card to give to our neighbor girl who is 13, she is going to water my plants and bring mail in. Now that I have it done, I am thinking it is to young for her, what do you think? Well, I need to vacuum my house and run the dishwasher, do a load of wash and finish packing...I am going to line up a few post to so you can still visit while I am gone and I am sure I will be posting some cute pics while I am away!
Be blessed!

Happy Monday Everyone!

Did you have a good weekend? We sure did, just basking in the idea of being grandparents again! Josiah is home and it was a good transition from hospital to home and Ava seems to being doing fine with having a new baby in the house! Today I needed a little inspiration to make a card and checked out the SCS challenge and was to lazy to try the mosaic challenge so I went to The Daily Dare Blog which is an excellent place to go if you are looking for a challenge or inspiration, the girls are doing a great job there keeping us up to date on the daily challenges out there... I found Cupcake Craft Challenges and decided to do their sketch challenge today.

This card just fell into place so easily... I just love this "little missy" image from High Hopes. I hope you have a great week, thanks for stopping by!

Oh MY, I am so excited!!!

Morning!!! First off IT IS WICKED COLD!!!!!!!! Second..... I am so excited as my DD is being induced today at 7am... Can't wait for that phone call!!! This card is for the limited supplies challenge. We were to make a non-cheesy Valentine's Day card that we could create a bunch of in a short time. We were to only use Red, White, Pink, Black, Craft colors, and it could only be a card front like the Valentine's Day cards were when we were kids. I had the set "Love Matters" on my desk so I went with that and this card came together in 10 min. so I could probably pop one out in 5 min. now that I know what I am doing with it. I debated on putting another heart in the upper right hand corner, do you think it needs one? Hope you all have a great day and STAY WARM!
~Stephanie
Supplies...
"love matters" stamp set SU'
scrap paper
clear embossing powder
heart punch, threading water punch

This is for today's sketch challenge over at Lord have Mercy's blog. The sketch plan is below. I just found this blog today and loved the sketch so I had to try it... I used this cute penny black image and some scraps I had laying on my table from a card I made yesterday. The DP is from K&Co. and I colored the image with prismacolor pencils and OMS.

April and Waddles!!

I have been waiting to make a card with this stamp because I did not have a clear block big enough for the stamp... I just love this image from High Hopes called April and Waddles, it makes me think of spring or in my case Winter in the south. I used paper from "The Paper Studio" some cute flowers and I colored with my prismacolor pencils and OMS. I actually like how this one turned out!

Limited Supplies

This is for today's Limited Supplies Challenge....

*Stamps: Any (bonus points for using a heart image!)*Paper: any + red...any shade of red*if you use a punch or die it must be heart shaped*if you use embossing folders...they must have a heart*if you use an accessory it MUST be heart shaped or red*if you use designer paper...yup you guessed it, red or hearts!

I used a cute little stamp from High Hopes, some paper from Target's $1 from last year and some new brads I just bought. Colored the image with pencils and blended with OMS. So upset my blog counter has not shown up in 2 days and don't know if I should just start a new one or wait and see if it pops back up.

Happy Wednesday!

Made 2 cards today one for the sketch challenge and then a VD card. I colored the hedgie with the sketch challenge in mind but couldn't fit in with the sketch so I just made a simple card. Then I got our my trusty "Both Way Blossom" set and made a card for the sketch..I was looking at everyone's cards and realized I left off a panel- MY BAD! I have been wanting to make a stick pin as I have seen so many cute ones in the gallery and so this is my first shot at one... I just have to send a shout out to all my MA friends who are home again because of the ice storm!!!! Feeling bad for you as I am sitting here sitting in my shorts!
Be Blessed!
